Paula Briskin is an art nerd and started painting with canvas that she stretched herself because at 19 she wanted every piece of work to be lasting and loved.
Attending the University of California at Los Angeles as an art major under renowned professor Mitz Kataoka and referred to House of Design owner Joe Iwanaga in LA where clients included American Express, Budweiser, and Beetleboards of America. During these years she sidelined her graphic work with painting.
When moving back to the East Coast she worked for Milton Bradley Co. as a game box designer.
After retiring she is now devoted to painting full time, a long time dream. Every painting is one of a kind in her preferred medium of acrylic paint. No copies of any painting ever. There may be similar works, but never the same!
It is her desire that you enjoy owning one of her works as much as she enjoys creating it.
